MARK SULLIVAN

Mark joins Techne as Advisor, Communities, building relationships and making connections within the Techne ecosystem. 

Mark is a seasoned global business development executive and strategist, with broad experience in commercial banking, international accounting & consulting, technology, and higher education. He has extensive experience in forging relationships and partnerships with global financial institutions, private equity funds and multinational corporations with a focus on Japan and China. While at PwC, he worked with several PE clients to develop and implement investment strategies to purchase non-performing loans from Japanese financial institutions.  At the Simon Business School, University of Rochester he formed corporate partnerships with several technology companies, including Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Juniper Networks, Gusto, Dell Technologies, IBM and T-Mobile.  

Mark has a deep understanding of market drivers and the importance of analyzing and managing risks. He has served on boards for several nonprofit and for-profit organizations. He served on the board of Anritsu Corporation (US subsidiary of a publicly traded Japanese Company) and was Chair of the Audit & Compensation Committees. While on the Board, he drove creation of an internal risk management team composed of mid-level managers to perform an assessment of the weakness of the company, and to effectuate and drive positive change to address the shortcomings.  

Mark received his BS Degree in Finance from San Diego State University. He completed the Director Certificate Program at UCLA Anderson School of Management.
